Above it all
Today, I got up earlyish. I started the day with a guilty pleasure, enjoyed it so much, that I did it all over again. Although I can't write about that or what happened next, this day just kept on giving.
The SeeHere album I won with my camera arrived today. I decided to make it a portfolio of my photos and they look great. They are bigger and more vivid than I expected. I'm really pleased with how it came out.
When I got back into the car, it wouldn't start. The electrical system has had problems for a while. When I first tried to take my driving test, the turn signals didn't work. The clock rarely comes on. A few weeks ago, the AC outlet didn't work, so my phone was dead when I was trying to meet Second Bestie in OC 2 weeks ago.
Tonight, the alarm kept setting itself and going off when I tried to start the car or open the door. I've been driving for almost 3 1/2 years, so perhaps it was time for my first call to AAA.
It was only a pick up truck, half the size of all the trucks that pulled into the post office and prompted me to look up from my portfolio, expecting to see a big tow truck. Luckily, it just needed, well, I don't really know what he did. But he got it working and told me to run it for 10 minutes or so to charge the battery. While I waited, a man pulled up and asked me if everything was OK. So chivalry is not dead.
It was a full day and I'll get an honest sleep tonight.
